The Shankh is counted among the fourteen gemstones that emerge from the agitation of the ocean. The name is Mother Lakshmi's brother. Vishnu holds this in his hands. Lord Vishnu is believed to reside in the home where there is a Shankh. Where Vishnu is, there will most probably be the goddess Lakshmi. In other words, by keeping Shankh in the house, wealth, grain and prosperity remain forever. But there are rules associated with Shankh that everybody needs to know.

These are the rules

1. There should always be two Shanhs in that house. With a single Shankh, God is venerated, his consecration, etc. is done, and the other is blown. But don't ever blow the Shankh you worship God, otherwise God can get angry and you may have to see painful consequences in life.

2. Do not forget that a single Shankh should be kept in the house of worship. Besides worshipping God, that Shankh should be worshipped as well.

3. The Shank used in worship must always be filled with water. Spraying it after worship in the House and on members eliminates all problems.

The Shankh which is blown can be wrapped in a white cloth and preserved anywhere around the place of worship. Before blowing Shankh must be cleaned up with Gangajal.

But some rules have also been said to keep it in this home, it is very important to take care of them, only then its full advantage can be obtained. First, take a clear red cloth. After that, fill Gangajal in Shankh's left. Afterwards, sing a string of this.

After singing the mantra, wrap the left hand Shankh in a red cloth and provide an appropriate place in the temple. Have a special worship of that Shankh on Friday. It should be played after worship.

There are two Shankh types with the left hand in India. The first male faces southern Shankh and the second female faces southern Shankh. The Shankh whose layer is thick and heavy is referred to as a male Shankh clockwise. On the other hand, the Shankh who is slender and light in contact is called the female Dakshinavarta Shankh. Keeping Shankh from the left hand in the house is regarded as a good sign. By worshipping it regularly, we obtain the blessings of Lord Vishnu, and Goddess Lakshmi.

According to the Hindu scriptures, in the house where the Shankh is set up in the southern direction, the blessings of the goddess Lakshmi still remain in the house. There is always a home of wealth and prosperity at home. According to Vastu, if you worship the south-facing Shankh with all the rules and regulations, wrap it in a red cloth, and keep it in your house, then there will never be a shortage of money in your house. At the same time, you will rid yourself of all the architectural defects of the house. By installing Shankh to the left in the house temple in the southerly direction, negative forces do not enter the house. Those who live in the house are happy and prosperous.
